We’ve used plastic-free packaging from day one at Mark+Fold. This means no cellophane wrappers on cards, no shrink wrapping on notebooks, no bubble wrap for our deliveries from suppliers (at our request). Instead, we go for the pure ASMR route of paper-rustling joy, with every product wrapped in 35gsm paper.
For our ribbon, we source heavy duty natural cotton 'apron tape' from an industrial supplier in the UK. We include around a metre length with every gift-wrapped order (more than enough to squirrel away in your 'rainy day' box until it makes itself useful once more).
Our wrapping paper is recycled, unbleached 'newsprint' (or premium kraft paper for Gift Wrapping). This protects your stationery, keeping it pristine in transit, without creating unnecessary waste. It is folded in such a way that we can avoid using any tape, and this means you can find another use for it once your stationery is safely at home on your desk.
