If you're a long-time customer, you'll know that the Diary colour reveal has become something of an annual treat. We take pre-orders from early summer and give a sneak preview to our subscribers and pre-order customers ahead of the big reveal.
Of course, the real beauty of our Diary is on the inside — the week-view page layout was recognised at the ISTD Awards in 2024 and has won the loyalty of many customers over the past 9 years who use it every day.
This being our 10th anniversary year, we are offering more choices than ever before, included several of the most popular colours from the past decade, as voted by our most loyal customers. We also have not one, not two, but three Special Editions this year, including two colour choices in the linen-bound diary, plus a bold neon with abstract, playful typography to mark our big birthday.
NB: If you order before Friday 5th September, you can enjoy our pre-order discount on all 2026 Diaries and planners.
Racing Green
Last seen in 2018, this was a firm favourite and we've had many requests to bring it back again. Possibly the best ever combination of a rich dark hue with our favourite matt gold foil, it is of course Racing Green. Made in Cumbria at one of our favourite paper mills.
Mustard
Another close contender for most popular Diary colour to date is Mustard. This one is also made in Cumbria, from recycled coffee cups. We also have to break the sad news that after this year Mustard will be discontinued by the paper mill, so this will be its last outing.
Black on black
We have long daydreamed about a black-on-black Diary cover so here it is — subtle, elegant, cool, and about as minimal as it gets.
2026 Special editions
We couldn't celebrate our 10th birthday without having some fun with our special editions. So this year we have the much-loved linen-bound Diary in the usual Natural Linen with white foil, as well as a new Navy Linen with a fine-weave texture and glinting gold foil.
The typography this year is called 'void', and we chose it for the beautiful form of the '6.' It reminded us of a metal casting, like the movable type used in traditional type-setting. So in a sense, the typeface speaks of the process itself, as the foil is pressed onto the cover with a metal die.
Neon Green Special Edition
Last but not least is our Neon Green Special Edition, featuring a '2026' reminiscent of our paperclip motif. The numbers wrap around the spine of the book, creating abstract forms. The technical challenges of printing around the spine mean you don't see this very often - but we love a challenge and we are so excited to launch this design to mark our 10th birthday this year.
