Thank you to everyone who has been part of the Fold over the past 10 years!
A keen obsession with stationery is an excellent judge of character it would seem, and Mark+Fold has attracted such a fantastic bunch of people over the years. So thank you all for sharing our love of good paper goods.
It's really always been about creating blank canvases for people to do great things
We are so proud of all the films that have been made, all the novels that have been published, and all the great things that have come about because you put pen to paper in one of our notebooks.
I have a few people I'd like to thank...
To the people who helped us out in the early days — Sam and Sally, Lorraine, Allie.
To everyone who has worked with us over the years — Rhianna, Ros, Bina, Becky, Minseo, Anh, and especially to Grace and Rosie. And to the wonderful Helen and Helen who have made the past year just incredible, I am so proud of all we've achieved together and just LOVE working with you both every day. Thanks also to Jen, Darren, Ruth, Tony, Jake, Jess, Charlie, Al, Pete, Leanne, and all the many others who have worked with us along the way.
To Tom Bodaly at Oliver Spencer, our first ever stockist who took us on before we even had a website! To Karen Leck at Bamford who gave us our first brand collaboration project back in 2016. To Isabel Ettedgui at Connolly who has been such a joy to work with and such a great support over the years.
To Another Country, who are a great collaborator and we have met so many great customers from being stocked in your beautiful Marylebone shop. And we are honoured to have a selection of your gorgeous oak furniture in our lovely shop for the next few weeks. I am sure you will all agree that it looks stunning and really shows everything off so beautifully.
To all our creative collaborators, but especially Catherine Nippe. We met at an antenatal class 11 and a half years ago, but as soon as we discovered our shared love of books and print we rarely talked about the kids. What a beautiful friendship that has formed, and a great creative partnership. I am so proud of the work we have created together and it's so good to know that many of the people in this room use it every day and it plays a really important role in their daily lives.
To Margo Selby, Huma Qureshi and Patrick Grant, who will each be joining me for an 'in conversation' event in our lovely shop over the next 2 weeks. Spaces are free but please do book!
