The moment has arrived — we're excited to reveal our 2027 Diary colours!
There are six options to choose from this year: two classic Mark+Fold colours, plus our Japan-inspired Special Editions, and the much-loved Linen Diaries too. These are all available at pre-order price until midnight on 10th September.
If you have any questions at all, please get in touch.
Flint
Last seen in 2019, Flint has become a Mark+Fold classic and one of our most popular notebook covers. Close enough to black to be considered an 'off-black' it also has a richness to it so that it can look like a very dark navy or grey in different lights. Made in Cumbria UK.
Mustard
The much-loved Mustard is back for one last time. This rich tone works brilliantly all year round — earthy in summer and cosy in winter. Made in Cumbria UK, from recycled coffee cups.
Japan-inspired Special Editions
"One of the things that really struck me in Japan was the art of subtlety and texture. I saw examples of it everywhere — such restraint creates a thing of beauty. I brought this idea home with me to London and it fed into our designs for this year's special edition — a super simple blind embossing. And as for colours, I kept noticing the beautiful blue and brown of the noren hanging in doorways and it felt like it was just meant to be."
Amy Cooper-Wright, Mark+Fold Creative Director
Special Edition Blue
This vivid blue is made at the Gmund mill near Munich, from recycled fibres. With blind embossed '2027.'
Special Edition Sand
This classic neutral brown is made from recycled offcuts from the production of till receipts in Germany. With blind embossed '2027.'
Natural Linen
The much-loved Natural Linen Diary features a bold '27' this year and we chose the Tiempos typeface by Klim Type Foundry, which draws on traditional newspaper fonts like Times and Corona — reinterpreted with contemporary proportions and a sturdy construction.
