Seconds Sale

Help us achieve our zero-waste target, and give a good home to a beautiful (if slightly imperfect) notebook or diary. Our 'seconds' have minor flaws meaning they did not pass our strict quality checks, but we hope all the same that they will be the perfect blank canvas for your plans.

How it works

We hold a Seconds Sale once a year, to find a good home for any items we have put aside during the year due to minor flaws or imperfections. Subscribers to our mailing list gain early access, and we will publicise the start date and time in advance. 

Why do we do Seconds Sales?

We do not offer arbitrary discounts or end of season sales. Instead we price our products fairly all year round. Seconds Sales help us to reduce waste, by ensuring that every item finds a good home. This is just one of the ways we work to reduce waste, alongside pre-orders.

What is a 'second'?

Seconds are items with minor flaws, such as small marks or bumps suffered in production or in transit from our bindery to our studio. We have extremely high quality standards so we may classify an item as a second when it has only minor marks. All our seconds are in perfectly usable condition.

When is the next Mark+Fold Seconds Sale?
