Launched on our fifth anniversary, this new series of notebooks brings together all of the best bits of previous batches. Available in six variations, including plain, lined and dot grid pages.
At 128 pages, this notebook is slightly thicker than our previous Mark Two and Mark Three, but slimmer than the Mark One. As ever, we have been absolutely uncompromising in our choice of paper, which is milled in Scotland and has a beautiful smooth cream surface and excellent opacity — at 120gsm it is markedly heavier than the average notebook and perfect for fountain pen.
Featuring our trademark layflat binding, achieved with thread-sewn sections and the application of cold glue to retain flexibilty. The result is as durable as it is elegant.
Covers are slightly heavier than previous batches, for added tactility and strength, and all feature our thumbcut motif in foil.
Our first lined notebook was produced in 2016 and since the last batch sold out, we have made some slight tweaks to our lined page design, in discussion with our customers. The lines are now slightly lighter, and the margins slightly narrower, to maximise writing space. Read more
