Looking at these photos from a visit to our bindery, there is something striking about the faces of all the people involved in this process, and that's pride. When we started Mark+Fold and began speaking to potential partners, we kept being told about how we could cut corners to keep things cheaper. It took time and perseverance to find the right people, who share our pride in making things well.
This is why we have continued to work with the same team of printers in Aberdeen, and the same teams of book-binders in Belgium and Essex, to make all of our stationery. We all share pride in making things as beautifully as we possibly can, in using the best materials and creating the gift of a well-made object.
It's clear that you feel this when you use our stationery day after day, because many of you write to tell us so. And we hope it instills pride in your own work, as you open the next page of your notebook and get to work.
