All orders are hand-wrapped in black tissue, so they are ready to give as gifts. We can send your order directly to the recipient, with a Gift receipt and Hand-written card. If you'd like to do this, please include your personal message in order 'Notes' and input their contact details under 'Shipping address.'

We're always happy to make suggestions if you'd like to contact us with your requirements and we can offer some suggestions. We have a range of Gift Boxes, with a selection of our stationery wrapped in black tissue and presented in a gift box tied with cotton ribbon. If you are unsure what to get, we also have digital Gift Vouchers. 

All our products are made either by hand at our London studio, or with printers and binderies who we work closely with in the UK and Europe. Read more

Yes, the paper we use for our notebooks and diaries was chosen through a very rigorous process. It is extremely smooth and a very thick 120gsm, so there is virtually no show through. Read more about our papers

Shipping is free of charge for orders above £75 (UK), £150 (Europe), £250 (all other destinations). We also offer Half Price Shipping for international orders above £50 (Europe), £75 (all other international destinations).

All other orders are charged at cost, according to the Royal Mail rate card. This is calculated at checkout based on the weight and size of your items, and your delivery destination.

We charge zero mark-up on shipping, and offer all packaging free of charge, to keep costs as low as possible for our customers.

You should receive an email to let you know once your order has shipped. UK orders should then arrive within 1-2 working days, international parcels take longer (please see our SHIPPING page).

In 2015, we set out to create a better notebook —  not just a better quality product, but a more considered and ethical approach to the making process. Our notebooks and diaries all open flat to 180 degrees; our pages are made of exceptionally good paper that is up to 30% thicker than other notebooks; our stationery is expertly made in small, numbered batches. Yes. All our products are individually numbered per batch, and we are always happy to take requests for special numbers, subject to availability. Read more about our Batches and Limited Editions.

We welcome the opportunity to work with brands, events and private businesses to produce a custom batch of notebooks. The minimum quantity is usually around 100+ however do get in touch to discuss your requirements.

We are happy to create a customised Gift Box or personalised packaging for a special occasion or gift. Please get in touch, with as much notice as possible, and we will do our best to help. There may be an additional charge, depending on your requirements. 

We do not offer one-off customisation or monogramming of products.

Once a new product is in production, we offer a special pre-order price until the stock arrives with us at the London studio. This helps us to be more creative and work with exceptional materials and processes, and it allows our loyal customers to access slightly reduced prices and first dibs on number requests.

If you order other items at the same time, your order will be sent once all items are in stock, to make the most efficient use of postage and packaging. However, if you would like to receive some items urgently, please let us know (an additional shipping charge may apply).

If you would like to receive an order urgently, please get in touch as early as possible, and we will do our best to help.

We may be able to arrange a same-day / next-day courier, depending on stock availability and your location.

If you'd like to make any changes to your order, please get in touch as soon as possible. If it has not yet left the studio, we will be happy to amend the items in your order, or the delivery address. 

If your order has already been shipped, we'll be unable to make further changes. However, you are welcome to return it. See our returns page for details.

As we make our stationery in small batches using high quality materials, we are not usually able to give away free products.

However, do feel free to contact us with some information about your event and we will consider offering a one-off discount. 

We welcome reviews from journalists and bloggers. If you would like to request high res images, please drop us a line.

To request samples, please contact us and state which products you would like to review. In exceptional circumstances, we may offer products on loan or free of charge, however we would usually expect these to be paid for and shipping costs covered.

We are stocked by a short list of retailers, who share our aesthetic and ethos. If you think we would be a good fit for your space, we would love to hear from you. Please send us some information about your shop, ideally with web links.
