The Mark+Fold Stationery Subscription is an opportunity for people who share our passion for great stationery to receive regular packages from us and become more closely linked with our work in the studio.
Each Subscription package is thoughtfully created and personalised for individual subscribers, including hand-written notes. We can also accommodate preferences for specific products, colours and bespoke details.
THE MARK+FOLD SUBSCRIPTION 2018
Upon receipt of your order, we will send you a Welcome Pack* with a personalised letter, membership card and your very own subscriber number. This is presented in a luxury A5 envelope on 135gsm stock.
You will then receive 4 parcels from us at regular intervals throughout the year — towards the end of February, May, August and November. Parcels will always include a notebook (or a set of smaller notebooks), and a selection smaller items such as our solid brass paperclips, pencils and greetings cards. We also like to surprise you with small gifts that we hand-make in the London studio, and which are exclusive to subscribers.
We will send you 2x £10 Gift Cards to spend at markandfold.com. These can be given away as gifts, or they can be put towards an extra treat for yourself.
Subscribers have preview access to new products before they go on general sale. And from time to time, you may be invited to take part in our design process when we are developing new products; this often involves us sending you mock-ups to try out and tell us what you think. We always love to hear feedback about the products or ideas for new things you’d like to see us doing in future.
* The Welcome Pack is sent within the same delivery timeframe as regular orders, ie. 2-5 working days by Royal Mail First Class post (UK) and Royal Mail International Tracked & Signed (Europe and Rest of World). Please see our DELIVERY page for full details.
If you are purchasing the subscription for someone else as a gift, please send us an email to confirm delivery details.
If you have any further queries, please consult our SUBSCRIBER FAQs page or send us an email via our CONTACT page.
The Notebook Mark One is our classic notebook and we promise never to change any of the features that make it special. However each batch has its own distinct details to set it apart from other batches.
Batch 1 sold out in October 2017, and we are excited launch Batch 2, featuring a calm grey-blue end paper.
A5 Ota-bind notebook, 160 pages. Second batch of 300 (November 2017).
Our signature notebook, which we have developed in response to the request for a ‘perfect notebook for every day.’
Ota-bound using thread-sewing and a small amount of cold glue, to retain flexibility in the spine; the result is as durable as it is elegant. The book simply falls open flat when placed on a surface for writing.
Pages in Naturalis Vanilla Smooth, milled on the banks of the River Leven in Scotland, is remarkably smooth on both sides. End papers in Colorplan, made in the Lake District. Cover in Wild Black, which is made from 35% cotton fibres, develops a great patina with use. Thumbcut motif in copper foil, and blind deboss.
Each notebook is hand-numbered. If you would like a specific number between 1 and 300, please include a note at checkout. (NB: Numbering is per batch and specific numbers are subject to availability. Higher numbers are more likely to be available).
Designed in London. Printed and bound in Holland.

The first of our planner pads, designed to inspire organisation and prompt creativity. The clean, simple layout allows you to use the pad flexibly, whilst providing structure and a format that sits well on a desk amongst other things.
Designed in collaboration with our subscribers and customers, who tested draft layouts and provided feedback on the design. The three columns are designed to cater for different 'modes' of thinking or planning — blank white space, a fine lined grid, and a list with tick boxes. All printed in a muted grey Pantone ink so that the grid is helpful without getting in your way.
