Our muted cards feature a simple abstract motif reminiscent of trees and footsteps in the snow. Printed in white foil onto a series of muted tones — ivory, light grey and dark grey — the finish is subtle and elegant. The card reacts differently to different light sources, and times of day, making this a beautiful card to have on display over the festive period.
Edition of 900 per colour, printed in Scotland.
Pack of 6 cards (2 per colour) and 6 envelopes. Also available as a box of 12.
New batch, printed and bound in Aberdeenshire, October 2017.
The first of our planner pads, designed to inspire organisation and prompt creativity. The clean, simple layout allows you to use the pad flexibly, whilst providing structure and a format that sits well on a desk amongst other things.
Designed in collaboration with our subscribers and customers, who tested draft layouts and provided feedback on the design. The three columns are designed to cater for different 'modes' of thinking or planning — blank white space, a fine lined grid, and a list with tick boxes. All printed in a muted grey Pantone ink so that the grid is helpful without getting in your way.

Our Card Box is designed to cover all of your greetings card needs for the year. Presented in a kraft box with blind debossed lettering. Includes 14 assorted greetings cards, using remarkable papers milled in the UK and special finishes including foiling and blind debossing.
Each of our cards is simple and abstract, designed to suit a range of occasions.
The inspiration behind the card box is the drawer full of cards that our mothers used to have when we were children. When you needed a card at the last minute, you'd rifle through the eclectic mix of cards to find one that was just right for the person and the occasion. Our card box is designed to equip you with a collection of stylish cards for all of those moments.
In 2017 we have collaborated with woven textile designer, Margo Selby, on a very special edition of hand-made notebooks, combining our refined style with the riot of pattern and colour that Margo Selby brings. The jewel-like notebooks transpose a woven pattern into the medium of print, in a series of bold colours and using one of the largest and most intricate dies we have ever commissioned.
Margo Selby is a textile design studio known for its graphic, geometric, woven textiles. The Iceni print pattern is a stylised interpretation of handwoven diamond and birds-eye twills. In transposing this for print, we have represented the ‘warp and weft’ with a coloured paper ‘background' and bright coloured foils. The metallic finish changes as you turn the books in the light, much like Margo’s woven silk pieces.
The notebook covers are printed in Aberdeenshire, and the notebooks are hand-sewn at Mark+Fold’s London workshop. The coloured thread is visible on the spine to help you to organise notebooks by theme or project. Covers are made from Colorset, 100% recycled, made from post-industrial waste in the manufacture of till receipts in Germany.
Each book is individually numbered and wrapped in our signature style. Limited edition of 100 per colour, July 2017.
